For those ready to stop performing.

The
Uncaging.

The work of noticing the cage, and finding the door to exit it.

A coaching practice like no other for women who are hungry for something else. For women who are ready to live, move and speak authentically with freedom. For women who want to feel limitless and boundless, even within the constructs of daily life.

Your discomfort with your successful life is not a character flaw. It is not a guilt of being ungrateful, nor a resistance to overcome. It is your soul finally refusing to keep paying for a life it never ordered. You were not taught this. You were taught to be grateful, to be good, to be strong, to be productive, to be spiritual, in the ways that other people find acceptable. The Uncaging is the practice of carefully leaving every version of yourself that was built to be approved of, and cultivating the version that your soul was meant for.

“What you are feeling is not a collapse. It is the precise moment your life began telling you the truth.”

— Gloria B.

The Five Masks

She wears one of five.

  • I.

    The Hollow Achiever

She has the life. She doesn't feel the life.

  • II.

    The Performing Believer

She does the practices. She has stopped feeling them.

  • III.

    The Cage-Dweller

She knows the door is open. She stays.

  • IV.

    The Almost-Awake

She is standing in the crack of the open door.

  • V.

    The Quiet Seeker in Hiding

She has already heard the voice. She hasn't said it yet.

A six-minute assessment. You will learn which mask you are wearing now, and what the next door looks like for you.

Take The Unmasking

The methodology built across twenty years of teaching and coaching teachers. Five archetypes, five phases, and one specific practice or reflection that does the actual work of unmasking.

  1. The Mirror.

The first three sessions are diagnostic. We name which voices are currently eating at you, and we get to the root of what is really being asked of you.

  2. The Threshold.

The next two sessions are dissolution. Each week you have homework of thinking, speaking, or doing habits differently. This is the operative work, the practice that changes the wearer.

  3. The Claiming.

The final five weeks anchor the new self. You have important conversations with key influencers in your life. You practice forgiveness and surrender. You begin to speak, think, and act differently.

  4. The Uncaging.

A 7-day in-person retreat to truly immerse yourself in new habits and conditions, with support and accountability.

  5. Integration.

You see which new tools, habits, and knowledge actually stick, then choose to join the Circle to stay in community.

About

I am Gloria. I help women unmask and get uncaged.

I have taught yoga and contemplative practice for over twenty years. I’ve trained instructors and healers who work all across the globe. I’ve hosted countless circles, workshops, and retreats for women who were starving for something else, something different.

Most of the women who came to me were not seeking transformation. They needed someone to listen. They needed clarity, a map, and clear guidance. They needed permission to take off the mask they had been wearing so long that they had forgotten that it was one. The Uncaging is the practice I built for them.

“I did not know I had a mask on until she said it out loud, gently, in our first hour. Six months later I am running my own studio in a body that finally feels like mine.”
